WOW! I cannot believe I will be graduating college in less than 2 weeks! It seems as if I was a senior in high school just yesterday. Time flies to say the least. Now that school is winding down, I am starting to prepare for the last finals of my college career. Graduation is around the corner.
Shortly after graduation I will be leaving for a road trip across the West Coast with an old friend who lives in Arizona. I will be flying into Phoenix and we will leave early the next morning to drive from San Diego to San Francisco. I’ve never been to California and am excited to see the state everyone raves about.
Luckily, I was born into a family who are Red Sox Season Ticket holders. I tend to take it for granted. I’ve never realized how much games cost or even how hard it is to get a pair of tickets — with that being said, I enjoy bringing a new friend with me to each game to give them the ball park experience everyone should have.
On Saturday I watched the Red Sox battle their long time rival the New York Yankees. Even though the Red Sox lost, I still enjoyed myself. It was the first warm, non-rainy day in April. As I watched the game, I enjoyed a pricey $8.50 draft beer and a Fenway Frank. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

I couldn’t be more thrilled that the UConn Men’s Basketball team won the Final 4 game against Kentucky Saturday night. Tonight the Huskies will match Butler for the title of the NCAA Championship. Everyone will be on their toes to see what Kemba will pull off tonight! As a Senior, I am so proud of what UConn has accomplished this year – UConn is the first school since 1983 to have Men’s & Women’s Basketball in the Final 4 along with their football team making it into the BCS bowl.
This morning, UConn had the opportunity to host NBC’s Today Show at their very own Gampel Pavilion. Below is the link:

It’s official, the first day of Spring is here! After the recording breaking winter we had in New England, none of us thought Spring would arrive. When I woke up to a new season, I saw snow falling from the sky.. it was too good to be true! Hopefully it doesn’t stick around too long. To celebrate a new start & a new season, I posted my favorite picture from Winter 2011. Enjoy.
